Talc is a mineral composed of Hydrated Magnesium Silicate with the chemical formula H2Mg3(SiO3)4 or Mg3Si4O10 (OH)2. In loose form, it is a widely used substance known as Talcum Powder. Talc is not soluble in water. Its color ranges from white to grey or green and it has a distinct greasy feel. Its streak is white. Talc is a versatile Mineral widely used in various Industrial Applications. The important properties of Talc are its Chemical Inertness, High Dielectric Strength, High Thermal Conductivity, Low Electrical Conductivity and Oil and Grease Absorption.

Uses and Applications :
Talc is used in making Paper, Ceramics, Cosmetics, Paints, Detergents, Foam / Rubber, Putties. It is also used in making of precious products like Talcum Powder, Pharmaceuticals & Plastics.
